What service users said about community care
Over 15,000 service users responded to our survey in 2007. The survey revealed continued improvements in the relationships between service users and their psychiatrists. There were also improvements in the co-ordination of care those with the most complex needs Areas of concern remain, however, with large proportions of service users still not reporting being involved in their care or being able to access talking therapies.
Review of hospital services for people with acute mental health problems
The overall results showed that we scored most trusts as fair (43%), followed by good (29%). Almost as many trusts were scored as excellent (12%) as weak (16%).
